Online Therapy for Women in Maryland

My Story

My approach to therapy is shaped by both professional training and lived experience.

I understand what it’s like to live with anxiety and depression, challenges related to food and body image, and the uncertainty of not always knowing where you fit. I’m a mom of two sons with autism and other special needs, and I was a military spouse for over 20 years — experiences that have taught me how deeply stress, transitions, and uncertainty can affect both individuals and families.

My faith is a central part of my life and informs how I approach growth, compassion, and resilience. While life isn’t trouble-free and I’m always a work in progress, I’m grateful to feel more confident in myself and in managing emotions as life unfolds.

These experiences allow me to meet clients with empathy, patience, and understanding. I enjoy helping women feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives, experience greater peace and confidence regardless of their circumstances, and continue becoming the best version of themselves.

An Integrative, Individualized Approach

I take a flexible, integrative approach to therapy that considers emotional, relational, and physical experiences. Rather than following a single model, I draw from multiple evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to meet each client’s individual needs and circumstances.

Many of the women I work with have experienced complex or relational trauma, and our work focuses on understanding how past experiences continue to influence emotions, patterns, and relationships in the present.

Depending on your goals and circumstances, therapy may draw from principles and techniques informed by:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)

Attachment-based approaches

Somatic and mind–body awareness
